Have you noticed that within our congregation, the Spirit is moving groups of people to join hands during the Lord’s Prayer. It started with a few folks who regularly sit next to each other, but what an opportunity to show the person who you don’t know sitting next to you, that we are the living body of Christ in the world. Recently, at the beginning of the prayer, there was a Spirit tug for me to reach for the hand of the person next to me. This is a person I have known for years but doing this took them completely by surprise, yet this simple act seemed to heighten those spiritual words of prayer for me and hopefully for them as well.
