As a member of the choir, we often are desensitized to the beauty of what the Spirit is singing through our voices due to the regiment of rehearsals. We do give thanks for the knowledge that our singing is a form of worship and a gift from God. But nothing can compare to the feeling we get when after an anthem, the members of the choir are able to witness the faces of the congregation to see how the music the Spirit sent has touched them. For this moment in time, I give praise to God for the gift of music.
