Music

Martin Luther said, “Next to the Word of God, the noble art of music is the greatest treasure in the world.”  Music is an important part of worship at Living Springs Lutheran. There is a place for folks of all ages and with various gifts to participate in our Music Ministry. If God has given you a musical gift, we have a place for you to use that gift.

Grace Chorale

The Grace Chorale is open to youth and adults and serves as the primary musical leadership for the 10:45 a.m. service. This choir rehearses on Wednesdays evening from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the choir room in the Administration building.  We gather to warm up and pray on Sunday mornings at 10:15 a.m. in the Sanctuary.

Joyful Noise Choir

The Joyful Noise Choir serves at the 8:15 a.m. service and rehearses 7:00-8:30 p.m. on Wednesdays in the choir room, with the Grace Chorale. This choir is open to youth and adults who love to sing.  We also gather on Sunday mornings at 7:45 a.m. to warm up and pray up before leading worship.

JuBELLation Handbell Choir

The JuBELLation Handbell Choir meets on Tuesday nights at 7 p.m to 8:30 p.m. late August through June. This group is open to anyone with a desire to join and no experience or music training is required.  The choir plays at both worship gatherings monthly as well as on High Holy Sundays.

If you’re interested in learning more, please contact Handbell Choir Director, Laura Turnmire at 803-361-1143 or scturnmires@yahoo.com.

Faith Alive Singers

Faith Alive is an extension of our children’s ministry on Sunday mornings. Children ages 2 – elementary school age gather in the Sanctuary from 9:30 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. We sing familiar songs and learn new songs that help us Grow IFaith Together as we start our Sunday School hour each week.  Often we share our songs in worship as a way to share our faith.  Come join us!

Worship Band

The worship band is currently forming to help us bring diversity to our music in worship.  If you play an instrument and are interested in more information about this new ministry, please contact George Donovan.
