Christopher Girardeau

Christopher Girardeau is the Minister of Faith and Life for the Senior Youth and Young Adults at Living Springs. Christopher is a seminarian pursuing a Master of Divinity degree from Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary. Christopher is a proud alumnus of Clemson University from which he received a B.A., cum laude in Religious Studies. Christopher also holds an A.A in Education from St. Petersburg College and an A.S. in Transporation from the Community College of the Air Force. Christopher has been a member of the United States Air Force Reserve since 2005 and has been on four deployments. Additionally, Christopher worked at Lutheridge for four summers. Christopher has experience as a youth director in multiple congregations, most recently at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Walhalla, SC. Christopher will also be doing his Field Education praxis at Living Springs.

Christopher is a native of Spartanburg, SC. He is married to Ellen, who is originally from St. Petersburg, FL. Ellen has a B.A. in Communication Science & Disorders from Florida State University. She currently serves as the administrative assistant at Providence Lutheran Church in Lexington. Christopher and Ellen have been married for over 5 years and have two adorable cats, Aubrie and Camilla.

Christopher loves singing and playing multiple musical instruments, including piano and guitar. Christopher is a fanatic when it comes to Clemson sports, especially football. Christopher also enjoys discussing theology over a good cup of espresso.
