4th Sunday after Epiphany

In the ongoing roller-coaster weather, we are having lately, and the slight possibility of snow again, I hope and pray that y’all are safe and warm and praying for those who are not. — As we are 29 days into 2022, let us continue to give thanks for the warmth of God’s love that surrounds us even on the coldest & harshest of days. I also hope that somewhere this week you have had that “aha” moment where something was revealed — because here in the season of Epiphany, we continue to celebrate the light of Jesus revealed to the world. While we continue to celebrate the light of Jesus revealed to the world, let us not forget our Living Springs tradition of collecting warm socks, gloves, hats, coats, blankets, or items of thermal undergarment which can be brought to church anytime through Jan. 31. Oh! And don’t forget that Sunday, we again have multiple worship options at 8:15 and 10:30. Also at our 10:30 service, you can worship from the parking lot via FM radio, or worship live with us on Facebook or YouTube. We have resumed our special blessings at the start of worship for those with baptismal anniversaries, and our youth will meet after church for their Youth Gathering Devotion and what a time that will be learning, talking and sharing. On that note — PLEASE mark your calendars for the big 2022 Ministry Theme kickoff on Sunday Morning Feb. 13 and stay tuned because there is more to follow in the weeks to come… This Sunday, we hear the in the Gospel of Luke “where Jesus speaks in his hometown and then he is driven away.” —But Oh!!!! What happens when we really get to know Jesus…more to follow Sunday Morning….as we look forward worshipping with you. #SundayWorship
