This 4th Sunday of Easter is known as Good Shepherd Sunday, as each spring, we ponder the beautiful image of Jesus as our Loving Shepherd. We are inspired by the words of the 23rd Psalm and reminded of the green pasture/still waters to which our Lord leads us, amid the challenges of life and brokenness of the world. This Sunday is also HOPE Sunday at LS – as we kickoff our special HOPE emphasis. Special parts of worship will focus on our call to be living beacons of God’s hope: more deeply formed & grounded in God’s hope, more fully equipped with God’s hoping-coping skills for life, being God’s active hope-agents for others. As we depart, there will be opportunity to receive a personal blessing of hope!
