We’re excited to welcome Campus Pastor, Jesse Caniff-Kuhn, who has a special message for us – and Living Springs’ LCM Board Members have a Thanksgiving presentation, celebrating our partnership with this life-changing ministry. On this first Sunday, we also have our next monthly HOPE mini-skit from our Worship Team during worship. We hold in prayer everyone affected by Hurricane Ian & all emergency workers, as well as so many affected by recent storms. Psalm 46, which gave so much strength to Martin Luther in his most difficult days, reminds us – “God is our refuge and our strength: a very present help in trouble.” May the Spirit empower each of us to be instruments of God’s strength for others in these days! In Sunday’s Gospel, we hear Jesus’ words about the power of faith – even faith as small as a mustard seed, which can carry us through challenging times. Words from Paul for a young Timothy ring out in our hearts: “I am grateful to God when I remember you constantly in my prayers – I long to see you so that I may be filled with joy.” Indeed, we will be filled with joy whenever we see each other, gathered to praise God, to be fed with the meal of God’s grace – and give thanks for the power of faith in our lives!
