On this 1st weekend in June, we see the ongoing growth of God’s creation around us, as we continue to celebrate the wonder of God’s growing hope for all! We pray you each have sensed that growing hope of God in your heart & in your life this week. As the school year ends, we give special thanks to God for all educators, parents, and students – with prayers that the seeds of God’s hope will blossom and flourish this summer and in the journey of life ahead. We had such a joyful celebration of Pentecost last week: so wonderful to be together at our fellowship lunch & unity worship with all the special music & multiple languages! If you weren’t able to be here, you can find the service posted on our LS YouTube channel. For the summer, we continue regular worship times at 8:15 & 10:30. This week, we join Christians across the world in celebrating Trinity Sunday, rejoicing that God comes to us as 3-in-1 and 1-in-3, bound together in eternal love. We again have a special choir anthem, plus organ music by Trad Mayson. This spring, we had such moving moments at our Disciple Gatherings, as we focused on God’s growing hope in our lives. The gatherings are such an important part of our life together at Living Springs. If you weren’t able to participate, we have an added “make-up” option for everyone this Sunday at 9:20. Mark your calendars for VBS (June 19-21) & ArtSmart Camp (June 26-29, July 24-27). Spread the word to neighbors, family & friends. There is some way we all can help – see your e-news for details. On Trinity Sunday, we hear the beautiful story of God’s creation from Genesis, the Trinitarian blessing from 2 Corinthians, and the Great Commission of Jesus in Matthew, sending us to all nations to teach and baptize in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We hear Jesus’ amazing promise, “Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age!” – and we look forward to being together this Sunday to joyfully worship our incredible Triune God of love. Christ’s Peace!
