The Spirit put my fiancé and I in the right place at the right time. We witnessed a man toss his 10 week old puppy off a 3rd story balcony in anger. This man was living on the couch of his friend’s apartment and the friend told the man he had to leave – – he couldn’t mooch off him any longer. So, the man took the puppy he brought home a just few weeks ago and tossed him over the 3rd floor balcony. The friend called the police and we gave a report as witnesses. The puppy incurred some shoulder injuries, but is actually doing pretty good considering the fall. We felt the Spirit fill us with love for this creature of God, so we offered to adopt the dog. The police had the guy sign over ownership of the dog to us, so now “Duke” is part of our family. Thanks be to God that we were in the right place to adopt His beautiful creature, Duke!
