I was eating at Waffle House one day and at the end of my meal, the bread delivery man came in to drop off the invoice and bread. I smiled in his direction and said Hi. He came over to my table and said you have a nice smile. I thanked him for noticing and said, “God bless you today.” He said, “Thank you, ma’am. I needed that. Today is the anniversary of my mother’s death and I have really been missing her. She had a great smile just like you do. God has touched me today through you. Thank you.” I gave him a hug because I had no idea that a smile and a few words could make that kind of a positive impact on someone else’s life.
