On this 2nd Sunday of the Epiphany season, we hear stories of the light of Jesus spreading through the lives of ordinary people like Philip & Nathanael – and also remember how God chose to work in the OT through a little child named Samuel. We join in little Samuel’s words, “Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.” – and we marvel at how Jesus finds us wherever we are in life and offers us hope & peace & purpose to be able to share with others.
