On this first Sunday of the Epiphany season, we remember Jesus’ baptism by John at the Jordan River – and celebrate the grace-filled wonder of our own Baptism into Christ. We ponder the special manifestation of the Holy Spirit at Jesus’ baptism and consider the gift of the Holy Spirit in our Baptism. Affirmation of Baptism is a special part of this week’s liturgy!
