As a community of disciples STRETCHED BY THE CROSS, we are empowered by the Holy Spirit to further EXTEND THE UMBRELLA OF GOD’S H-O-P-E: continuing to BREAK DOWN BARRIERS, so that more people may experience THE LIFE-CHANGING POWER OF GOD and move from SURVIVING TO THRIVING in a challenging world! + + + Walking together in faith with each other & our community, the Spirit calls us to these 2022 focus areas: HELP with resources for Emotional-Mental-Spiritual Health & Well-Being! OUTREACH to uplift others with creative, multi-faceted expressions of God’s grace for all! PARTNER with our community to support Children/Youth/Young Adults in their life-skills & spiritual journeys! EXPAND our connections while sharing God’s love with people wherever they are! + + + Blessings and curses abound on the sixth Sunday after Epiphany. We would do well to listen closely to whom the “blessed ares” and the “woe tos” are directed and to find our place in the crowd among those who desire to touch Jesus. The risen Christ stands among us in the mystery of the holy supper with an invitation to live in him, and offers power to heal us all.
